We All Scream for Fresh Gelato!

We all scream for authentic gelato! We recently discovered a gelato goldmine at a quaint cafe in Occoquan dubbed Tastefully Yours, which serves fresh Dolci Gelati daily! CiaoDC’s old friend, Gianluigi Dellaccio of Dolci Gelati, is originally from Naples and has been serving the DC area with his authentic gelato for over 10 years. He is the master of gelato in DC, and now Virginians can sample his treats by the water down in Occoquan. Live La Dolce Vita this summer and take your gelato with you at Tastefully Yours Cafe!

Celebrate Festa di San Lorenzo on August 12th in DC

San Lorenzo Ristorante + Bar (click here for our CiaoDC Chat on the restaurant!) is named after Chef Massimo Fabbri's favorite neighborhood in Florence – Borgo San Lorenzo, as well as his 4 year old son, whose name honors San (or Saint) Lorenzo, the patron saint of chefs.

Chef Massimo will continue Florence's grand tradition of honoring San Lorenzo by hosting his First Annual "Festa di San Lorenzo" on Sunday, August 12th at the restaurant! See the celebratory three-course prix-fixe menu below.
