The Feast Day of San Lorenzo – typically celebrated on August 10 – is a grand celebration of food and wine in Florence, Italy. Here in D.C., it's a reason for us to indulge in the best Italian delicacies around!
San Lorenzo Ristorante + Bar (click here for our CiaoDC Chat on the restaurant!) is named after Chef Massimo Fabbri's favorite neighborhood in Florence – Borgo San Lorenzo, as well as his 4 year old son, whose name honors San (or Saint) Lorenzo, the patron saint of chefs.
Chef Massimo will continue Florence's grand tradition of honoring San Lorenzo by hosting his First Annual "Festa di San Lorenzo" on Sunday, August 12th at the restaurant! See the celebratory three-course prix-fixe menu below.
