As Publisher of CiaoDC, I have worked closely with several of these restaurants and chefs and understand first hand the heart and soul of these businesses - touting the food industry as one of the hardest, perfectionistic industries in our city - and country.  The details, the cleanliness and the love that goes into creating a meal for a customer is the driving force behind their passion for being a chef, a sommelier, a hostess, a bartender, a cafe owner, a gelaterie, a server, a general manager, etc.  These are the businesses that have our back through the seasons, the holidays and the special events in our lives.  This is a testament to the dedication is takes to be in the food business.

Masseria is Chef Nick Stefanelli's latest masterpiece with flavors from his native Puglia. Masseria won three stars from the Washington Post and one Michelin star. Masseria offers Italian boutique style dining with Italian gourmet specialties at its finest. Now the DMV can get these luxury meals right at its doorstep, with Masseria a Casa. A weekly menu is curated by Masseria's culinary team. Each evening a special dinner for two will be offered with the option to add on a hand-selected wine pairing from our Sommelier, right to your door.

Indulge in Italian Art with CiaoDC at the National Gallery of Art featuring two private tours: Raphael and His Circle and The Italian Galleries led by Senior Lecturer, Erik Denker. Celebrate the 500th Anniversary of Raphael's Death with Raphael and His Circle and the Italian masters featured in the Italian Galleries including central Italian artists from the 14^th to the 16^th centuries such as Giotto, Fra Angelico, Leonardo, and Raphael along with Venetian art of the 15^th and 16th centuries including works by Giovanni Bellini, Giorgione, Titian, and Tintoretto.
